As the festive season approaches, we at Lightning Machines extend our warmest wishes to our valued clients and readers. Reflecting on a year filled with innovation and progress, we're grateful for the continued support and trust from friends, family, funding bodies and innovators across the world.

In 2024, we made significant strides in advancing sustainable technologies within the mining and recycling industries. Notably, we secured funding to explore the application of high-voltage electric pulses in recovering raw materials from electric vehicle motors, reinforcing our commitment to strengthening the UK's supply of critical metals. This project has taken up a lot of our time, but with an overwhelmingly positive reception we expect a lot more to come from it. We have also expanded our consultancy, chatting with various inetersted parties about the potential for High Voltage Pulse Power. We continue to work with Selfrag and other manufacturers to promote the technology and get it through the valley of death into general acceptance.

We also visited Advanced Engineering 2024 at the NEC in Birmingham, the UK's leading showcase of the latest advances in engineering, innovations and developments, where we showed off high voltage pulsed power technology and shared the results of the research performed in mining and recycling, do drive material supply of the future.
