LM Director appointed to F1000 Scientific Advisory Board

Dr Dan Parvaz has been appointed to the boards of the IoM3 Materials Open Resarch (MOR) Gateway and the Scientific Advisory board of the F1000 open access publishing platform from Taylor & Francis.

The MOR Gateway is supported by the IoM3 (The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining) and is a collection of research articles, posters, presentations and others submitted by IoM3 members. In his role, Dan will be curating the best research into minining, minerals, metals and mineral processing and proposing submissions to MOR.

As a member of the Scientific Advisory Board, he will be steering the direction of the F1000 platform, deciding what research themes and advances are appropriate for the platform and seeing submissions from those fields.
